Our founder and instructor is Carol-Anne Brockington. She has over 20 years experience working with birth and breastfeeding families. Carol-Anne studied breastfeeding support at Humber College (RN Breastfeeding Support Certificate) and trained directly with Dr. Jack Newman. She exclusively teaches and uses the same techniques she was taught by Dr. Jack Newman. She also trained to be a childbirth educator at Humber College (RN Childbirth Education Certificate), and completed additional training and certification via CAPPA. Her birth doula training and certification was completed via DONA. Carol-Anne also trained to be a midwife via Ryerson University but had to leave in her senior year due to health issues. She has been consulted for articles in reputable publications like Today’s Parent and The Globe and Mail.
